During this Thanksgiving season, our efforts are on the cusp of reaching a remarkable milestone - sending 5,000 meals. Your support plays a crucial role in not only providing essential journalism but also ensuring that those facing hunger receive the nourishment they need. Volunteer Linda Cooper, as seen in the photos, is dedicated to collecting foodstuffs for clients at the Feeding Champlain Valley food shelf. The staff there is constantly busy, giving out turkeys and other holiday fixings. It's open for groceries from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the week. Bill Dennison, another volunteer, is seen unloading donated foodstuffs, showing the continuous flow of support. Volunteer Sharon Fosbrook also plays a vital role in stocking foodstuffs for clients.
